Comet C/1911 N1 Kiess is parent body of the meteor shower whose orbital period is 133 years making this cosmic event rare & exclusive sight to watch.

The originating point in sky from which Aurigid meteor shower seem to appear is located in the Auriga constellation which rises in the northeast.

Aurigids are best seen from the Northern Hemisphere at night after 01:00 am local time & in Southern Hemisphere, few hours before sunrise is an ideal time for meteor shower.
